McIntosh announces DS200 streaming DAC

  • Publisher’s note: Today brings news of a streaming DAC from McIntosh (recently acquired by Bose). Ordinarily, I would strip the press release back to bare essentials to present the DS200 in my own words. However, a shoulder injury continues to make typing painful so what follows is McIntosh’s press release copied/pasted word-for-word BUT with all the marketing fluff – as I see it – struck through.

BINGHAMTON, NY – February 13, 2025 – McIntosh, a global leader in high-end audio equipment, proudly announces the launch of the McIntosh DS200 Streaming DAC, a groundbreaking addition to its renowned line of premium audio products. The DS200 is crafted for music enthusiasts who demand the perfect combination of high-end audio quality and seamless streaming capabilities.

The McIntosh DS200 Streaming DAC seamlessly merges cutting-edge technology with classic McIntosh craftsmanship, elevating any home audio setup to a new level of luxury.

DS200 was designed for listeners who already have compatible power amplifiers and preamplifiers and are just missing the high-end streaming component to complete their audio systems.
