The world’s largest hi-fi show is moving to Vienna

  • The world’s largest hi-fi show – Munich High-End – is upping sticks and moving house the year after next. The High-End event scheduled for May 2025 will be the last to take place at the MOC Event Centre in Munich. From 2026, High-End will be hosted by Vienna’s AVC (Austrian Centre Vienna). It will still take place in May, the local language will still be German (albeit spoken in a different accent) and the local currency will still be Euros.

One possible upside of this move is that the AVC sits near the centre of Vienna and not on the outskirts (as the MOC is in Munich). And anyone worried about the size of the Austrian venue is advised that at 26,000 square metres, it’s a mere 10% smaller than the MOC. Better still, interested parties can check out the AVC for themselves ahead of time: the (presumably final) Finest Audio Show Vienna, also organised by the High-End Society, will run at the Vienna venue this coming November.

Auf wiedersehen, München. Guten Tag, Wien.

    Confused? Here:
