In this episode, the 6moons-er and I try to journey further than the press release on new amplifiers and CD players from Arcam and Marantz to ask: is HDMI ARC a mandatory feature for super-integrated amplifiers selling at (or close to) the entry-level? And with Srajan pulling in a new development from Dutch & Dutch and me a relatively new active speaker from the pro-aiming Neumann, I also ask, again to myself, are active speakers fundamental to Future-Fi?
