In this episode of the Darko.Audio podcast, I chat once again with Alessandro Cortini. You might know of Cortini as the bassist, guitarist and synth player for Nine Inch Nails. Alternatively, you might know him as an electronic musician whose work leans toward the avant-garde. (I’m more of a fan of the latter than the former). But what you might not know about this Italian/American – now living in Portugal – is his enthusiasm for all things head-fi. Cortini has bought (and sometimes sold) more IEMs, headphones, DACs and amps than most people would experience in a lifetime. And as well as discussing many of his favourites in this podcast, Cortini also details how he uses IEMs on stage and how headphones at home inform his studio process.
