It’s been a full month since our last podcast episode with Twittering Machines’ Michael Lavorgna. And what a month it has been: I moved to Portugal for what remains of the German winter, discovered that my new home’s lounge room had an horrific reverb problem, demonstrated with measurements how neither a rug + sofa nor room correction software could possibly fix it and called in Vicoustic to install physical treatments. The links to those stories are available below — and you can hear the difference between my untreated office and the now-treated lounge room at the very beginning of this episode.
Clocking in at over two hours, this is a very long podcast in which Lavorgna and I discuss my recent room acoustics investigations, the commencement of his journey through numerous outboard phono pre-amps as well as a whole slew of interesting news announcements. As always, we round out the podcast with a pair of album recommendations.
