A short film about the KEF LS50 Meta

  • KEF teased the use of Metamaterials in early September before announcing their deployment in the new LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II a few weeks later. We went deeper on the Metamaterial-derived tweeter absorber in a podcast interview with co-designer Jack Oclee-Brown before turning our attention (and video camera) to the active model.

Now it’s the passive LS50 Meta’s turn for the video treatment. Two questions need to be answered: 1) how does the LS50 Meta compare to the original LS50? and 2) how does it compare to the LS50 Wireless II when powered by a NAD C316BEE V2 or Hegel H95?
