DAR prize giveaway #1: AudioQuest Dragonfly v1.2 DAC

  • This website rolled past its 4th anniversary last month. Happy birthday to DAR! Until now I’ve been too busy with show reportage and follow-up to find time to even mention it, let alone celebrate. Let’s put that right by giving one lucky a reader a present.

Reflections on the past twelve months will come at some stage but not via the usual website post. I’m saving my state-of-the-union summary for the first edition of DAR’s forthcoming newsletter. A newsletter that’ll be more occasional than regular. It might be monthly, it might be bi-weekly, but certainly no more frequent than that.

Apart from ‘exclusive’ content, all newsletter subscribers are automatically entered into the draw to win monthly prizes. Yes, free stuff! The first giveaway will be a brand new Dragonfly v1.2 DAC (RRP US$149) thanks to the generosity of the folks at AudioQuest.

For a chance to win said DAC, all YOU have to do is sign-up for the DAR newsletter. Look for the form at the bottom of this post into which you should enter your email address and then, Bob’s your uncle, you’re in the running for the Dragonfly DAC!

I’ll pick a newsletter subscriber at random at 11am (Sydney time) on Friday 19th December, just in time to make someone’s Christmas/Hanukkah/non-denominational celebration that bit brighter. Make sure you use an active email address because if the winner doesn’t claim their prize within 48 hours of notification, I’ll pick another.

Please note: due to postage cost constraints, this competition is only open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and the UK. (Sorry rest of the world).

Ladies and gentlemen, start your e-mail engines and get subscribing:

Alternatively, you can use the newsletter sign-up form on the DAR Facebook page here.

UPDATE 24th December 2014: Congratulations to Bill E of Wheeling, IL who is now the proud owner of this Dragonfly DAC.
