Well Rounded Sound to launch Jack Terrier 2 in NYC

  • New York-based Well Rounded Sound have the Jack Terrier 2 loudspeakers, directly targeted at desktop music enthusiasts. They are small!
    To be used in conjunction with an external amplifier and (optional) subwoofer they promise a “natural transparent sound”, says man-in-charge Jerry Cmehil.

    “Designed primarily as desktop speakers, the Jack Terrier 2 has ample power to enliven an entire room.”

    The Jack Terrier feature a small single driver that’s light-weight and self-damping. The cones are made from a blend of paper and bamboo fibers. A neodymium motor with a copper ring reduces distortion and a solid aluminum phase plug extends high frequencies beyond 24,000 Hz.

    The eco-friendly enclosure is made from recyclable composite material finished in New Zealand wool felt and natural American walnut.

    The Jack Terrier 2 will be introduced at the New York Audio Show at the Waldorf Astoria, (Suite 1529) on April 13th-15th 2012 and will sell for an RRP of US$299.
